Precision medicine begins by using large-scale data analysis to make drug dosages more relevant to each specific patient.

Personalised medicine aims to use the genetic profile of the individual patient to better treat the disease.

The problem is that the current drug arsenal, with around 8,000 to 20,000 APIs, is not enough to treat approximately 35,000 diseases or account for their progression, which would require at least 100,000.

As a result, personalized treatments can only become a reality if the drug arsenal is significantly expanded.
